Title: IGB Hotel, Berlin

Client: IGB

Year: 2018

Size: 9.540 sq.m.

Description: IGB commissioned ARIS the architectural design of a four-star hotel in Wassmannsdorf district of Berlin in Germany. The building block is located in Schützenstrasse 33 street and it is close to Berlin Schönefeld Airport. The study was initially based on a concept of IGP and then developed by ARIS. The hotel consists of 8 levels plus basement. The building coverage is 1,616 m2 and its total construction surface is 9,540 m2. The hotel’s aesthetic has the typical morphology of a German suburban building, and its design is in line with Leed (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).  For the facades materials of the building granite, concrete, panels and glass were chosen, and for the roof the use of zink plates was the most preferable. The design provides all of the facilities that are required in a modern city hotel, such as restaurant, conference center, gym, meeting rooms, bar, pool (on the terrace), lobby and of course underground parking. The estimated construction cost is € 22.000.000
